I developed this star medallion pattern into this small wall-hanging, which I hand embroidered and machine quilted. There are many butterflies hidden throughout the quilt. When my daughter-in-law photographed it, we were hopeful that the butterflies would also pose on the quilt. Unfortunately, my flower garden in Canada is full of bright flowers that they must have found them more attractive.
