I created this wall-hanging using a stained glass technique and quilted it myself. Ultimately I donated it to the annual dance fundraiser for the 50+ Activity Center in Sioux Narrows, Canada.
The wall-hanging depicts a loon, a waterbird with a very graphic feather pattern, and a typical red eye. They are beautiful birds and common on the Lake of the Woods. We also love to hear their eerie but lovely call.
